The home dashboard of Speedgain for Databases shows the latest What's New information and size of the repository, detailed information about the status of integrated alarms and provides information about the number of monitored systems including the timestamp of the last successful data discovery. Problems of the monitored databases or the monitoring itself are thus displayed directly at the start and accelerate error detection. Links in the individual areas lead to further overviews, details and background information. 

Configuration via web frontend - simple, fast, user-friendly

The configuration of the databases and systems to be monitored by Speedgain for Databases is done conveniently via a web frontend. In addition to wizards for easy extension with additional objects, detailed dialogs are also available to customize the configuration. Maximum flexibility is provided by reusable objects such as servers, login information, certificates and monitoring policies. Objects can thus be added quickly and the analysis can start promptly. All configuration items can additionally be created, manipulated and also deleted again via Rest-API. 

Db2 Workload Dashboard - State and Performance of my Database

How many requests and load is my database processing? How much time is spent on this and in which areas? Which waiting times play a role? The Db2 Workload Dashboard answers these questions in a unique overview. In the upper area, the load to be processed is shown, below this the breakdown of the processing times into their individual areas and finally the individual waiting times are split up. These trend charts are supplemented by pie charts to show the distribution as a whole. Bottlenecks and problem situations or abrupt changes in the behavior of the database can thus be identified quickly and easily. 

Diving into the depths via detailed dashboards

In order to identify the causes of complex problem situations, it is often necessary to dive into the depths of the performance indicators of the respective database. The shipped detail dashboards provide the necessary information such as Db2 tablespace and bufferpool KPI, SQL statement key figures, connected applications and their performance values, information about executed routines and occurred latchwait or lockwait situations. The list of detailed dashboards is long and is constantly being extended. The integration into already existing dashboards via detail links keeps the navigation simple and target-oriented.
