Data protection according to DSGVO for www.itgain-is.de and www.speedgain.com

The pages essentially serve to present the business activities of the operator. The data collected, as well as the data via the contact and registration forms, are used exclusively internally by ITGAIN. The data obtained through cookies and user behaviour scripts are used to improve and error-free presentation of the web pages. The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

It is generally possible to use our website without providing personal data. If personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

The use of the contact data in the legal notice for commercial advertising is expressly not desired unless the provider has given his prior written consent or a business relationship already exists. The provider and all persons named on this website hereby object to any commercial use and disclosure of their data.

SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the enquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Access from websites

This website contains telemedia, i.e. content within the meaning of Section 1 (1) of the German Telemedia Act.

The following procedural principles are guaranteed:

Every time a user accesses a page from the website and every time a file is retrieved, data about this process is stored in a log file. This data is not personalised; we are therefore unable to trace which user has accessed which data. This log data is stored for a maximum of 26 months and is only analysed statistically.

An exception exists within the Internet offer with the input of personal or business data (e-mail address, name, address) for the realisation of services. The provision of this data by users is expressly voluntary.

When accessing pages for which registration is required, a session cookie is set which stores the identity of the browser session on your computer and is deleted from your computer at the end of the browser session. This information is no longer available in subsequent browser sessions. A reference to the person of the user is excluded.

The use of JavaScript is required in the graphics version for the operation of the search and more convenient navigation with the aid of drop-down menus. A search without JavaScript is possible in the "text only" version.

Links to third-party offers

Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. In particular, data may be processed in third countries. With regard to compliance with data protection laws, we refer to the publications of the respective responsible parties.

Contact forms

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the

enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there and the free text field "Your message", will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The contact forms "Ask your colleague", registration for the Academy, registration for the Cloud Native Day and the general contact enquiry offer interested parties the opportunity to receive information about the work at ITGAIN from colleagues, to register for a training course or event or to send a general enquiry to ITGAIN. For this purpose, a message can be sent by stating your name and e-mail address. This message will be forwarded as an e-mail.

The e-mail and any subsequent exchange of e-mail messages will be forwarded exclusively to ITGAIN employees and answered by them.

All e-mails exchanged with an addressee will be deleted upon request or no later than 6 weeks after the last message was exchanged, unless a business relationship has been established.
In addition, we store your data exclusively in our CRM. This involves an automated request for consent to data storage after 49 days. Your data will only be processed within ITGAIN by the persons involved in the implementation of the procedure for events and for professional exchange. If no further contact is made or consent is revoked, your data will be blocked for further processing after a further 79 days. The contact data required to ensure that an objection is honoured will remain in the CRM for up to 680 days. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b.

If you register for the ITGAIN Cloud Native Day using the form, we will send your name and email address to our partner, Alkmene Verlag GmbH, Wittelsbacherallee 107, 60385 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, as the organiser of the IT Days.

As an e-mail service provider, we have a contractual relationship with Microsoft. A transfer to the USA can therefore currently not be completely ruled out.
